Twelve new women have joined Farmer Wants a Wife — which ones got five minutes of fame, and which joined the farm life?

It’s time to chat about episodes seven and eight.
The first episode started with a tough watch.
The three remaining farmers — Corey, Thomas and Tom — did a sexy calendar photo shoot, so for anyone who wants to see some average looking, awkward men having even more awkward pictures taken, this is the episode to watch.
The real juice of the episode started with the boys going on a boys’ trip to the harvest festival for some guy time.
When they got there, they had more than fresh produce to greet them, with fresh meat hitting the screen.
Four new women per farmer joined the OG girls, with the farmers only allowed to bring five back — including their current ladies.
Farmer Tom was ready to say goodbye to Emma, saying she’s gorgeous but not the one for him.
He then just stood up and left.
The sweet, sensitive Tom we know must have been on the clock, as he didn’t even give her a kiss goodbye or a platonic hug.
He gave her an awkward hug goodbye right when she was heading in.
Farmer Thomas also had his tail between his legs as he confessed catching up with departed lady Claire, which Clarette was super calm and chill about. Or not.
It was all a bit much for Thomas’s lady Ellen, who bowed out before Thomas could decide.
Thomas — desperate to keep Clarette happy and already having lost one woman — brought flowers and grovelled, which a reluctant Clarette accepted.
At the end of the episode, Corey kept his original three, Keeley, Jadee and Chelsea, as well as new ladies Annie and Chloe.
Tom brought back Georgie and Eliza as well as Mady, Tijan and Emily.
Thomas invited back Clarette and Rachael and welcomed Laura, Jess and Tayla, who he took an instant like to.
Episode eight saw an unsurprising dislike from the original ladies towards the newcomers.
The salt in the wound was when the cast was told the farmers would be going on dates with the new ladies, leaving the originals to stew in their anxiety.
Despite an initial connection with Tayla, Laura seems to be the favourite of Thomas’s new ladies.
My personal enemy Corey stayed my enemy, saying that his two additions are giving his original ladies a “run for their money”.
Tactful mate.
Soft-boy-gone-hard, Tom was ready to say goodbye to Tijan, so it wasn’t a hard decision for him when the elimination time came.
In a classic people pleaser, ‘I'm just a nice guy’ move, Thomas avoided confrontation by keeping everyone.
Which, as you can imagine, Clarette was super jazzed about.
He said he didn’t want to put all of his eggs in one basket, which seems like yet another moment of Thomas missing Claire.
Or could it be that his front-runner Clarette isn’t that much of a front-runner any more?
Corey said goodbye to one of his original ladies, Chelsea, who had a teary final piece to camera, but put on a brave face when the news broke.
In an always dramatic ‘next time’ the farmers’ relationships will be put through tests and an honesty box will be brought out, which is always a recipe for disaster.
Two shock departures promise to change the game, and Farmer Thomas may have been a bit too honest during the game, saying that Clarette is too jealous.
Despite it being teased in episode six, no new farmer has been welcomed to the show, maybe next time.
To be honest, all the boys are in the naughty corner this week.
They all rank at the bottom.
Let’s hope, next week brings less disappointment than this one.
