We had 28 teams play in the last of our winter tournaments, and thank you to all the players for your support for our tournaments.
Conditions were not great on Saturday, but we got through to finish in the sunshine.
We had only two three game winners at the end of the day, but multiple two game winners.
There was nice sunshine to start the day on Sunday.
One of the three game winners lost the first game of the day.
The day finished with only one five game winner, and playoffs were held for all other spots.
The winners were the composite team headed up by Gayle Kerr.
Runners-up were G Beckham and his team from Golden Square.
Third was the Deniliquin team led by Jo Bovell.
Fourth was Ken Main and his composite team, and the Lalor team led by Wayne Hutson were fifth.
Thank you to all the club staff for making us feel so welcome, and Peter Wilson - our greenkeeper - who did a great job with the greens.
Paul Clear did a good job of running the two days, and thank you to all who helped with the raffles and other jobs that make for good days at the club.
