Racegoers were treated to a seven-race card, with a couple of placings to celebrate for trainers with local connections, including Gwenda Johnstone and Rhys Archard.
It was a good day for punters who had a flutter on the main race down in Melbourne, with short-priced favourite Point of Law living up to its billing, to the joy of many watching on the big screen in Echuca.
Away from the track there was also plenty to enjoy in the way of food, drink and entertainment.
Riverine Herald photographer Jordan Townrow was at the track to capture the colour of the day.
