Gray has put herself up for Victorian Netball League honours after signing with the Western Warriors, earning appropriate reward after a season where she finished sixth in the GVL goal shooting.
The News Rising Star for April finished the season with 482 goals and joins Tatura teammate Jasmine Fraser and 23-and-under coach and Shepparton premiership mentor Kim Borger at the Warriors.
The Bendigo Strikers have also confirmed the signing of Shepparton United recruit Sophie Garner, who has returned to Deakin Reserve after several seasons at Shepparton Swans.
Meanwhile, the Melbourne Mavericks have reappointed Nathalia mentors Tracey Brereton and Jacinta Todd to lead the Super Netball League club’s reserve grade side.
The Mavericks enjoyed a successful season under the tutelage of Brereton and Todd, who also guided the Purples to the Murray Netball League A-grade decider.
It’s set to be another busy campaign for Brereton, who is also spearheading the Bendigo Strikers’ VNL campaign.
Finally, Tallygaroopna is welcoming home a member of its inaugural A-grade premiership side.
Veteran goaler Tamara Skinner will make a long-awaited return to the Redlegs, the club she helped to a historic 2008 premiership.
After more than 100 games for the Redlegs, Skinner had stops in the Murray league and most recently in the GVL with Shepparton United and Kyabram, and her inclusion is a timely one for Tallygaroopna after a winless campaign.
