Blair Taylor-Lloyd crunched a powerful 142-run knock in his side’s 230-run rout.
Taylor-Lloyd’s century was the second of his career and it was also the highest score from his 171 matches.
The big-hitter has been in stellar form of late and registered a half-century in round three.
And to top it all off, Taylor-Lloyd collected 2-4 to help Nagambie pencil in its thrashing.
The Lakers’ win sends them to the top of the Clyde Young Shield ladder.
Nolen notches up maiden ton
The second triple-figure score of the day came in the Whitelock Shield encounter between Katandra and Mooroopna.
Cats opening bat Mark Nolen produced a sensational century at the top of the order as he spearheaded Mooroopna to an eight-wicket win.
Chasing Katandra’s total of 141, Nolen went straight to work and crafted a stunning unbeaten 101 runs from 106 deliveries.
It was the maiden ton of his career — one that spans two seasons at Mooroopna.
His innings featured a dozen highlight reels.
Nolen crunched nine boundaries and sent three sixes over the ropes.
Blues tough out narrow win
Numurkah was able to cling on in a thriller against Northerners in SJ Perry Shield action.
The Blues posted 9-150 batting first in the D-grade encounter and successfully restricted the Jets to 134.
Dustan Ebborn was a standout for Numurkah with his mesmerising 4-25 from eight overs, while Myles Martin chipped in with 2-25.
Mitch O’Dwyer was the pick of the Numurkah batters with a classy 37.
