She executed her race plans with precision, including a standout effort in the 1500m Freestyle, clocking 22:33.03 on Saturday evening.
Across her six events, she also claimed bragging rights by out-swimming all six boys in the 100m Backstroke, finishing in 1:23.97.
Jackson contested five events, highlighted by a huge 17.12-second improvement in the Men’s 12 and Over 100m Butterfly.
He also shaved 0.93 seconds off his 50m Freestyle, taking the title as Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club’s current fastest swimmer. His strong performances earned him a place in the Freestyle Skins event—an exciting knockout series of sprint races—where he progressed through the first round to finish sixth overall.
Darcy swam six events, continuing to progress after some time away from training.
With the goal of competing at the 2026 Victorian Country Championships in his sight, Darcy showed promising form as he works back towards his personal bests.

He also achieved three qualifying times for upcoming Victorian State meets, which was an amazing achievement.
Both Lara and Flynn will represent the club next weekend at the Mattioli Victorian Sprint Championships at MSAC in Albert Park.
Well done to all swimmers on a huge weekend of racing. The club extends its thanks to Head Coach Lyndon Hart and Coach Kevin White for mentoring the team across the meet.
Appreciation also goes to Alistair Angwin, who officiated as Judge of Stroke—an important role that helps make qualifying meets possible.
