The Shepparton Western Horse Club hosted the final round of its Improver Championships at Elmore Equestrian Park on Sunday, May 19, judged by Shepparton’s Connie Barry.

This was the final of the new club’s Buckle Series, with awards for Small Fry, Lead Line, Green Youth, Improver levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as Intermediate.
The format was targeted at those who were new to western style shows or needed to refine their skills in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Shepparton Western Horse Club was established last year and is celebrating continued growth thanks to a great deal of interest in the local area.
The Improver Buckle Series will begin a new program from September 1, again at Elmore.
