Vivid chief executive officer Scott Alexander said the joint project was a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community, supporting local shoppers and businesses as they supported Vivid’s mission to assist adults living with disability to achieve great lives.
“Christmas is a busy time for many,” Mr Alexander said.
“Offering a gift-wrapping service for goods purchased at Under the Gable means we can help take some of the hard work out of Christmas shopping.”
Run by Vivid volunteers and Under the Gable staff, the gift-wrapping service is available in store at Under the Gable, 254 Pakenham St, Echuca, from now until Christmas Eve.
“We are grateful for our volunteers and Vivid FUNRaisers who give generously of their time to support our community initiatives — thank you,” Mr Alexander said.
Donations are appreciated, with 100 per cent of donations received through the gift-wrapping service going straight back into Vivid’s services and supports in helping adults with disability.
Under the Gable owner Sally Doyle said it was a delight to again partner with Vivid to provide a valuable and convenient service to the community as Christmas approached.
“We are delighted to have Vivid lovingly wrap our amazing products for customers, ready to put under the tree for Christmas.” she said.
