VFF chief executive officer Jane Lovell has resigned suddenly, without any public comment or explanation to members.
The VFF announced on Tuesday, May 31, that her resignation was effective immediately.
She had been with the VFF since January last year.
VFF president Emma Germano announced Ms Lovell had resigned in order to pursue her broader agricultural interests.
“On behalf of the federation I would like to thank Jane for her contribution, including supporting our members through the unprecedented challenges presented by the pandemic,” Ms Germano said.
“We wish Jane well for her future pursuits.”
