Full range of sprayers gives Aussie farmers advantage, Echuca business says

By Rodney Woods

Proudly Australian owned and operated sprayer manufacturer Goldacres is the only manufacturer in Australia to produce a full range of self-propelled sprayers, which is a major advantage for Australian farmers, according to CLAAS Harvest Centre Echuca's dealer principal Brendan Caffery.

The G Series self-propelled chemical sprayers are high-capacity, high-clearance and high-performance sprayers suited to large-scale dry-land farming and horticultural enterprises.

“These sprayers are fully designed, engineered and built in Australia for our unique conditions,” Mr Caffery said.

“Built with efficiency and spraying performance in mind with exceptional power-to-weight ratios, industry-leading boom ride, unmatched fuel efficiency and the latest spraying technology.

“Australian spraying practices vary substantially from that of the United States and Europe with higher spraying speeds, lower water rates and generally harsher weather conditions.”

Goldacres has developed its sprayer range to operate at maximum efficiency and reliability primarily for these conditions and Goldacres’ flagship trailing sprayer model, the Prairie Pro, is built on the following philosophy - to build the best sprayer, you have to start with a solid platform.

The Prairie Pro design incorporates many elements from the transport and earth-moving industries to ensure maximum strength, longevity and performance.

Features such as fully bushed pivot points, air-ride suspension components and dampeners, to the best corrosion-proof painting systems.

“Fully welded in rotating positional jigs ensure accuracy, repeatability and quality all combined with the experience gained with thousands of sprayers in the field,” Mr Caffery said.

“Pasture and horticultural growers can opt for the Prairie Special trailing sprayer, built to a standard, not a price, available in two frame configurations - the popular 1500 to 3000 L small frame and the 4000 to 6500 L large frame gives you all the features and capacity you need with strength and durability you can depend on.”

All Goldacres self-propelled and trailing sprayers can be fitted with the industry-leading Delta (Prairie Special) and Tri-Tech (Crop Cruiser & Prairie Pro) three-way suspended booms.

These booms feature three-way suspension systems, which are contour following.

As well as a full range of broadacre, horticulture and pasture sprayers, Goldacres also caters for contractor and home and garden markets with a massive range of smaller trailers, tray mount and three-point linkage sprayers making up about 65 models within the range.
