Overall, 105 Holsteins sold, averaging $3165.
The top-priced heifer, Eagle Ridge Lmyfire Polly, owned by Finley's Russell and Kerry Eagle, was purchased by Luccombe Holsteins, also of Finley.
The next highest price paid for a heifer offered up by the Russells was Lavanguard Tiffany, a daughter of the winning five-year-old from the 2019 Victorian Winter Fair.
She sold for $5800 to S. and M. Portwine of Bamawm.
The top selling lot from Ingoldale Holsteins, owned by Jim and Dot Gilmore from Pyramid Hill, was the in-milk heifer Emilio Elga, which is backed by seven generations of EX and VG dams.
Emilio Elga sold to Marungi Park Holsteins, owned by Max Hall from Marungi, for $6000, while R. and R. Robins, of Cohuna, paid $5500 for Ingoldale Sweet Peaks.
Of the other sellers on the day, Bruce Fuller, from Tallygaroopna, sold Newhope 1stclass Berkeley, backed by a deep Canadian family, for $4000 to A. and C. Coombes, of Long Flat, NSW; while N. and H. Commadeur, from Numurkah, sold Madison Contender Ella to R. and K. Glover, of Katandra, also for $4000.
