“A big thanks to our buyers, bidders, onlookers, helpers and Rodwells Benalla for putting on a great auction.”
Mr Hooper said it was fantastic to see so many new and repeat buyers.
“It's great to see where the sheep industry is at with lamb prices being so good and appearing stable for a long time to come.
“There's no doubt our sale reflected this with such a strong demand for these rams which appear to be doing a great job for people."
Results like this drive Mr Hooper to continue improving both breeds.
“We look forward to hearing more feedback so that we can continue to breed rams that do the job our clients want.
“We wish everyone the very best with their rams and plenty of continued success.”
The remaining rams will be available for private sale.
