Beef Week participants can expect the annual event to run as normal next year, despite COVID-19 forcing the cancellation of so many events in 2020.
The 30th edition of Beef Week is scheduled to run from Wednesday, January 27, to Wednesday, February 3, but organisers are prepared to run an virtual event if circumstances change.
Next year's event will see farms in the Shepparton, Echuca and Kerang areas open on day one, farmers in the areas around Seymour and Eildon will open their gates on day four and farmers in the Benalla region will have their open day on day seven, the penultimate day of the event.
Despite on-farm visits expected, the Heifer Challenge has been cancelled and will return in 2022.
Those who wish to enter the 2021 Beef Week must do by Thursday, October 15.
Entries submitted up until Wednesday, September 30, will be offered a $50 early bird discount.
