Floral tributes have been laid for a 66-year-old man who died following the alleged altercation at a Beenleigh home, south of Brisbane, between three residents.
The man was allegedly stabbed by Jillian Greer Francis, 43, during the fight.
Emergency crews found the man after they were called to the home about 4.45pm on Tuesday following reports of an altercation.
He had stab wounds and died at the scene despite emergency services' efforts to save him, police say.
A crime scene was declared and Francis, along with Lindsay James Kohn, 47, were taken into custody.
Kohn was initially charged with murder on Wednesday and Francis was under police guard at a hospital.
However, police on Wednesday confirmed the woman had also been charged with a number of offences including murder.Â
"Police will allege that during the altercation, the woman stabbed the 66-year-old man, who then died at the scene," Queensland Police said in a statement.
Francis and Kohn were not required to appear when their matters were heard in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
They were remanded in custody after their matters were adjourned to Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 23.
