Two NSW officers and a civilian employee had been charged over three separate incidents, including two involving domestic violence, the force said on Saturday.
In the first, a Mercedes wagon allegedly failed to stop after it was detected speeding on the Hume Highway at Goulburn on Friday morning.
Police pursued the car for 65km before tyre deflation devices were deployed near the Federal Highway at Yarra.
A short distance away, police were setting up a second set of road spikes when the driver allegedly swerved suddenly towards officers before correcting the vehicle and continuing to drive.
The disabled vehicle stopped on the highway a short time later and a 26-year-old male off-duty officer from the Southern West Metropolitan Region was arrested.
He was charged with police pursuit, reckless driving, exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h, using an offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention and possessing a prescribed restricted substance.
His driver's licence was suspended and he has been suspended from duty without pay.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on July 15.
In the second incident, a 59-year-old sergeant from a Northern Region command was charged on Saturday with the domestic violence offence of malicious damage.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Belmont Local Court on Monday.
Police said his employment status was being reviewed.
A police employee attached to a Northern Region command has also been charged with domestic violence-related offences.
The 44-year-old woman was charged on Friday with three counts of stalking, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault, false imprisonment and intentional choking.
Her employment status is being reviewed.
She was granted conditional bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court on July 14.
