Two more charged over Brisbane shooting

Two more people have been charged with the shooting murder of a man in the front yard of a suburban home in southwest Brisbane.

Jay Allan Roberts, 38, and a 26-year-old woman are the third and fourth people charged with the Oxley murder on October 4.

Detectives arrested Roberts at a Raceview home on Tuesday afternoon, while the woman was arrested in the Brisbane CBD on the day of the shooting.

Roberts was charged with murder and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and his matter was mentioned briefly at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Roberts - who did not appear - has been remanded in custody after his matter was adjourned to October 31.

The woman is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.

Andre Van Mason, 26, and a 30-year-old man have also been charged with the man's murder.

The victim died after being struck once in the chest with a shotgun shell at close range at a home in Cliveden Ave, Oxley.

Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham initially alleged four men and a woman armed with a 12-gauge shotgun, and potentially a handgun, were involved in the attack.

"Detectives from Operation Uniform Fortune have now charged four people with murder, with investigations ongoing," police said in a statement on Wednesday.
