Celebrations marking 100 days of learning for the youngest students at local primary schools has continued over the past week.

The activities have varied at each school, but one key element is encouraging the Kindergarten students to dress as 100 year-olds for a day of fun learning.
At Deniliquin North School, students organised collections of 100 items, constructed impressive towers using 100 cups, and solved hundreds chart puzzles.
Art was also a highlight, as students created imaginative self-portraits reflecting their 100 year-old alter egos.
To finish, everyone joined in a lively dance party.
At St Michael’s School, activities included making necklaces using 100 Fruit Loops, watching the Bluey episode ‘Grannies’, and more.
The celebrations spilled out of the school grounds, with the dressed-up class visiting the residents at Orana and Edward River Library before enjoying a picnic in the park.
