Entries have begun flowing in for the Goulburn-Broken CMA and Country News photo competition.

Above is an entry by Maxene McConnell.

Budding photographers have the opportunity to win prizes in the competition, which is designed to acknowledge the contribution of the humble paddock tree in the Goulburn Broken catchment.

Photos need to be of local native remnant species in the Goulburn Broken catchment area and should have been taken in the past three years.

The photo must be the work of the entrant and should not incorporate the use of digital manipulation.

Multiple entries (up to five) will be accepted.

Entries close on October 1.
