Bluey nominated for international television award

The ABC children's show Bluey has been nominated for an International Emmy.The animated series, created by Joe Brumm, is set in Brisbane and follows the life of a six-year-old blue heeler dog.ABC describes the contents of the show as Bluey developing her imagination as well as her mental, physical and emotional resilience.The beloved show has already earned itself a Logie for Most Outstanding Children's Program in Australia this year, and has received international success after being picked up by Disney.The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced at a press conference at Mipcom in France that the show was nominated for an International Emmy in the kids' pre-school division.This is the first year India and Nigeria received nominations in the kids' division.International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences president and chief executive officer Bruce Paisner said the nominees were setting a standard for excellence.
