The 129th annual Euroa Show will be held this weekend, with the main show day on Saturday and horse events over both days.
Euroa Show Society president Rod Sloan said Euroa hosted the best country show.
“A good day can be had by all with plenty to see and do,” he said.
The show will have a large display of exhibits in the NR Ralston Pavilion, such as flowers, arts and crafts and photography.
A wide range of livestock events will take place with cattle and sheep, as well as poultry, dogs and horses.
The show will have fun-filled events for children with the animal nursery, wildlife display and sideshows.
The Victorian Agricultural Show Ambassador Awards will be held on Saturday, with entries closing on Friday, October 25.
The Tiny Tots and Miss Showgirl competition will have competitors dress as their favourite fictional character, best show outfit or to represent the theme of Youth in Agriculture.
The show will be opened by local identity Bob the Vet.
Guests can take a break from exploring the show by relaxing at the public bar or tasting the treats at food stalls.
Admission is adults $15, children aged six to 16 $5, concession $10, family (two adults and three children under-16) $30.
