Tomato processor Kagome will open their Echuca farmgate to the community on Saturday with proceeds going to Echuca Regional Health.
Community members will be able to pick box-fulls of tomatoes at $10 each, with each member of the community allowed to fill five boxes of any size.
Kagome executive assistant Holly Evans said the open day was in its sixth year.
“This is something Kagome has been doing for the past six years and it seems to be getting bigger and bigger each year, meaning the community is getting on board to support the hospital,” Ms Evans said.
“It’s about sharing what we do at Kagome and allow the community to come on farm and take local produce.”
The Pick-a-Box open day will be held at Kagome's Parncutt's Farm on Saturday, February 15, from 9 am to noon.
Access to the farm is via Echuca West School Rd, Echuca West.
