The company behind the purchase of several dairy farms in the Murray Valley will boost its rural services experience with the appointment of former Ruralco Holdings managing director John Maher to its board of directors.
goFARM chairman Robert Costa said Mr Maher had broad rural services experience and would bring deep knowledge and expertise about agribusiness investment and management to the board.
Mr Maher said he was looking forward to joining goFARM and helping the company to expand its agribusiness operations.
“goFARM is a small but fast-growing company with big ambitions to transform Australian agriculture and I am pleased to be part of that,” he said.
The goFARM board appointment will add to Mr Maher's existing portfolio of non-executive director roles that includes AWN Food and Fibre Holdings, Elf Farm Supplies and Agribusiness Australia.
Mr Maher’s most recent executive role was group chief executive officer of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation.
