Restocker demand has asked and now Reiland Angus is delivering with its second ever multi-vendor Reiland Genetics Feature Female Sale.
Scheduled for March 12, the sale will be held at the Gundagai saleyards and will parade 70 pregnancy tested in calf (PTIC) spring calving heifers, 12 PTIC autumn calving cows, 50 autumn drop heifer wieners and spring drop calves among others.
Reiland Angus co-principal Mark Lucas said sufficient interest and cattle numbers had brought on the autumn sale.
“The heightened interest back into breeder cattle is heartening given the past drought challenge,” Mr Lucas said.
“It is with pride Reiland Angus, with the support of loyal clients, has initiated a genuine Angus breeder sale outlet for quality surplus females, selected for soundness and docility.”
The Reiland blood females on offer all emanate from committed, long-term Reiland clients and bull clients who have purchased Reiland bulls to join to quality breeding females.
Mr Lucas said all cattle will be inspected by agents for type, temperament and overall quality.
The sale will be interfaced with AuctionsPlus and will follow on from the highly successful Reiland female sale in February 2018 where cows and calves sold to $2800.
Selling agents are Elders and Nutrien Ag Solutions.
