Mr Brown was eliminated after the final first preference votes were counted and preferences were distributed.
Elected to represent the Murrumbidgee ward are Robert Curphey, Hayley Heath and Judith Saxvik.
First preference votes for soon to be inducted councillors Curphey and Health exceeded quota, with Cr Cuprhy polling highest with 190 votes.
Cr Heath had 166 first preference votes, Cr Saxvik has 129 and Mr Brown had 69.
Voter turnout this election was just over 70 per cent, with 626 of a possible 871 voters participating.
Of the votes cast, 36 were informal votes and therefore did not count toward the final result.
Murrumbidgee was the only Murrumbidgee Council ward to go to a vote on September 14, with only the minimum number of candidates registered for Murrumbidgee East and Jerilderie.
In both of those wards, sitting councillors were the only candidates.
Retaining a seat on council in the Jerilderie ward is current Mayor Ruth McRae, Faith Bryce and Troy Mauger.
Automatically re-elected in the Murrumbidgee East ward are Robert Black, Christine Chirgwin and Timothy Strachan.
There was no vote in the Berrigan Shire on Saturday, as it only had seven candidates register for eight council seats.
A by-election will be held on November 23 to fill the vacancy. Nominations will open on October 14, and will close on October 23.
