Members of both the Deniliquin RSL Bowling Club and Deniliquin Bowling Club are unable to use the greens or facilities under current lockdown rules.
It has forced the cancellation of DBC’s Open Medley Fours tournament, which was to be held this weekend.
Tournament convenor and club president Ray Anderson said a new date would be considered once lockdown ends.
The Deni RSL’s September pairs tournament is also cancelled, and club secretary Wayne Bradley said pennant, which is due to start in October, is also on hold for now.
‘‘We are missing the interaction and enjoyment of tri-weekly social bowls, but appreciate it is vital to follow the directives and keep everyone safe,’’ Bradley said.
