Flanno for a Farmer Day fell on Friday, August 15, with businesses and their patrons championing the cause.
Among the supporters were the teams at Moama Bakery’s four locations, where proceeds from all doughnut sales went to the charity.
Port of Echuca Discovery Centre’s Bella Everly, Andrea Basham and Maryanne Cashmore opted for different designs on their flannies.
Down at the Port of Echuca, $1 from every paddlesteamer and guided tour ticket over the weekend was donated, along with individual donations made.
If there was ever a reason to grab a beer, the Caledonian Hotel, Echuca Hotel and Henry’s Bridge Hotel put funds from every travla sold to Flanno for a Farmer.
The travla team, spearheaded by Echuca’s own Travis Fimmel, raised $30,000, including $500 from the Cal.
