The Murray-Darling Basin Authority initiated the independent review in December 2019, which was managed by the Advisory Committee on Social, Economic and Environmental Sciences and led by the CSIRO.
The review considered the salinity of the Lower Lakes, the implications of removing barrages and the vulnerabilities of the Lower Lakes to climate change.
The review has looked at hundreds of studies, with input from about 100 technical experts.
Panel chair Dr Francis Chiew and ACSEES chair Professor Rob Vertessy will attend the webinar, and MDBA chief executive Phillip Glyde will speak about the MDBA’s response to the review.
The information will be provided to members of the public through the video conferencing platform Zoom due to the coronavirus.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday, May 12 from 9.30 am to 10.30 am.
