A Makers Market has been added to Converge on the Goulburn 2026, which has been announced for Saturday, March 21 from 2pm to 9pm at Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton.
The market will be an opportunity to browse the wide range of crafts and artisan goods such as jewellery and candles made by local multicultural creators.
The event will also feature live music, cultural displays, paddle-boarding, inflatable sports games, live music and food.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said the festival was “a wonderful opportunity to showcase our community, celebrate the people who make it special, and invite friends and family from outside Greater Shepparton to experience it”.
Performances from young local artists will be featured in a two-hour program run by the Amplify Youth Committee, which is seeking applications from performers aged 14 to 25.
It is a paid opportunity for emerging solo and group artists across all types of performance art.
Applications can be submitted online before midnight on Sunday, March 1.
