The property is being offered for sale together or separately. It includes approximately 162 hectares planted to mandarins, with roughly 75,700 trees across the Tango, Afourer and Daisy LS varieties.
The sale is being managed by Jock Grimshaw and Chris Holgar of JLL Agribusiness.
“Tyacks Road Citrus was planted in one program in 2024, so a buyer is looking at a uniform orchard rather than a mix of ages and development stages,” Mr Grimshaw said.
The property offers scope for expansion, with 30 hectares of plumbed land ready for future planting in addition to 44.5 hectares of support land. Water security is a key feature, with supply from Goulburn Murray Irrigation’s No 5 Main Channel, supplemented by two catchment dams and 210 megalitres of groundwater licences.
The orchard is within an hour’s drive of both Cobram and Shepparton, providing access to key horticultural services and supply chains.
“The Goulburn Valley is an established horticultural region, and buyers can consider the whole aggregation or part of it. We expect to speak with a mix of growers and investors through the campaign,” Mr Holgar said.
Inspections are by appointment only.
The expressions of interest campaign for the orchard closes Thursday, November 19.
