With previous sales in the past two years reaching nearly $35000, all of which was donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, the auction will give buyers the chance to purchase quality stock while supporting a great cause.
The sale will begin at 10am before the usual Friday auction, where all donated sheep will be sold off with all proceeds going towards the appeal.
Dookie Lions Club member and sale organiser Alan Shields urged people to come along and support the cause, and said there was still time to donate.
“Sellers will have to have a national vendor's declaration if they want to donate,” he said.
“There will be everything from rams, ewes, all types of sheep up for sale, and the more people the merrier.”
