An event held by the Maize Association of Australia will host a range of speakers to talk all things silage, grain and maize.
The free event will take place on Tuesday, September 16 from 9.15am, but barista-made coffee will be available from 8.45am.
The event will take place at the Moama Pavilion, Moama Recreation Reserve, Moama.
RSVP is essential by Monday, September 8.

Speakers will be:
- Dr. Cassandra Schefe presenting The Cool Soil Initiative, and soil/plant nutrition issues following a dry year
- Scott Palmer (SLTEC) and Reily Menhenett (IPL) providing the latest on Maize nutrition, liquid pop up fertilisers and improving nitrogen use efficiency
- Netafim on irrigation scheduling to achieve the high yielding maize crops
- David Lewis, Lallemand on optimising maize silage production and feeding your herd.
- Matt Peterson from Aust Tyre Traders to talk about improved tyre design for Australian agriculture
- Jason Lucey, PSS Ag, on getting your precision seeder ready for planting
- Chris Warrick, from the GRDC Stored Grain Project on what do you need to consider to store on farm
- Industry panel discussing growing and marketing maize
An American-style BBQ lunch will be included.
