The first Deniliquin CanAssist since high tea since the COVID-19 began was held at Deniliquin on Sunday, and it was a huge success.

The beautiful weather allowed for the 124 guests to be spread out at The Crossing Cafe, with tables spanning the inside, back deck and paved area such was the interest in attendance.
Guests enjoyed delicious food and beverages, learned more about Deniliquin CanAssist and how it helps local families dealing with cancer, from president Kellie Crossley.
Proceeds from the day, estimated to be about $6000, will help with those initiatives.
