Call for support from the NFF

By Geoff Adams

It’s great to see National Farmers Federation president Fiona Simson heading to Deniliquin this week.

She might learn something, including the fact that local advocacy groups have done the heavy lifting for lazy out of touch peak bodies who are fast imploding into a world of insignificance led by the waste of space which is called the National Party.

Is it any wonder The Nats are in disarray; when they have a choice of supporting regional communities or pandering to their city-based Liberal progressive mates, they choose the latter every time.

When the NFF and the Nats realise that it’s the grass roots they must support and the regions they must protect, above the politics, they may return to relevance.
