Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 42-year-old Glenroy man with murder after the death of a Shepparton North man last month.
The Glenroy man was taken into custody by Fugitive Squad detectives at a hotel on King St in the Melbourne CBD at about 12.30pm on Wednesday, June 4.
He was charged with one count of murder later that day and will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

The 67-year-old Shepparton North man had been fatally assaulted.
Police allege an altercation took place at the address earlier that morning, and the parties involved were known to each other.
