The 28-year-old centre, affectionately known as "Robbo", will reach the milestone on Sunday against Newcastle in Brisbane as the reigning IRL Golden Boot winner, after being crowned the 2025 international player of the year.
Robinson, who is in the army, played netball growing up and the first time she touched a rugby league ball was for the Australian Defence Force team when she played in the National Championships in 2018.
Scouts were out and about searching for players for the first NRLW teams and Robinson's speed, power and love of physicality stood out, as it does now.
It was the uncompromising way she played her initial sport that put Robinson in good stead for the game that has become the love of her life.
"A few parents would say the way I used to play netball - I used to throw my body everywhere on the field and I probably had more concussions playing netball than rugby league," Robinson grinned.
"For me it's just about being competitive and just no care for my body.
"I just love the sport, I love how physical it can be and obviously coming from a family with the army background, I feel like I've had strong parents that brought me up.
"I've always just been one of those kids that just liked to get around in the dirt and the mud and likes to be rough ... so I feel like rugby league is my chosen sport."
Robinson, who has scored 33 tries in her 49 games for the Broncos, is now one of the first picked for Queensland and Australia teams and her meteoric rise has as much to do with her fabulous attitude as her skillset.
"I know that I was never the most talented player because I'd never played rugby league, but I just kept learning and trying my best in everything I do," she said.
"I want to be better each year. Last year was a really good year for me to achieve the Golden Boot and it's a huge honour because we have so many fantastic players in that competition."
She has played in all four of the Broncos titles and the club means everything to her.
"It's taken me nine seasons to get to 50 games, so it's been a long journey, but a journey that I've loved every minute of," she said.
"I've been here at the Broncos since 2018 and I love this club, I feel like I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for the Broncos.
"To be able to wear that jersey this weekend and play my 50th game is really special."
