The Roosters, who host Canterbury at Allianz Stadium, enter Friday's game after hammering North Queensland 82-12 last week in one of the biggest wins in the competition's history.
The 70-point victory was the equal-fourth biggest margin in premiership history.
It was the second-biggest win in Roosters history - they beat Canterbury 87-7 in 1935 - and sparked debate that the addition of more teams to the NRL over the next decade will only widen the gulf between the haves and the have-nots.
The Perth Bears will join the NRL next season, followed by the PNG Chiefs in 2028 and there is speculation a second New Zealand franchise could follow soon after.
But asked if he was concerned about the potential for more points records to be broken, Robinson said: "I don't think so, I think we've had examples of teams coming in, Super League in the 1990s.
"We've had different teams come in in the 80s, in the 90s as well, and we haven't seen that scoreline since 1935.
"So I don't think that's the case, I think our game's growing and we want it to grow.
"Is there going to be some more larger scorelines? Possibly. But are we heading in the right direction? Yes."
Robinson is expected to welcome back Lindsay Collins against the Bulldogs after the prop spent the past month on the sidelines with concussion.
There remains a question mark over the involvement of fullback James Tedesco, who has been battling an ankle injury picked up in the big win over the Cowboys.
"He's still named and pushing to play and it obviously wasn't as bad as what it could have been so that was really good news," Robinson said.
"Now we've got to see whether he can get there on Friday night so that's the plan with him at the moment."
