Fourteen bowlers braved heavy and chilly conditions after the recent rain.
Winners were Alan Jones and Chris Randell, 2W +15.

The green was busy with twenty-nine players, thirteen pairs and one team of triples.
The Jackpot wasn't won and stands at $116 plus next Saturday’s green fee allocation.
The forecast doesn't look favourable for bowls so let's hope for some clear skies on bowls days.

Chris played at Deer Park Bowls Club Ballarat on Saturday, June 27.
Chris felt he bowled well on the day but won't know for two weeks whether he has been selected to represent Bowls Victoria.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club Best Team Winner at Chiltern - John Dalgleish, Ian Lewis & Shane Rosenow.
There was good turnout of 22 bowlers for Wednesday afternoon bowls, with a big welcome to visitors Darryl, Mike, Glenice and a couple of others.
Winners on the day were Paul Hickey, Ray Ager and Peter King, with runners up John Dalgleish, Steve Rodway and Shane Rosenow.
Saturday social was cancelled due to the bowls day at Chiltern on Sunday.
A great day was experienced at the social bowls day against Chiltern.
Corowa Civic were treated to a lovely BBQ lunch, followed by Civic playing Chiltern.
It turned out a draw, with both teams having three wins and a draw.
The team with the best margin was Ian Lewis, Shane Rosenow and John Dalgleish.

Sunday’s winners on 14 and 16 (30) were Joe Carnivale, Tony Coppolino, and Gloria McCluskey, with the runners-up on 6 and 16 (22) being Joan Fletcher, Kerry Whalley, and Gwen Mills.
On Tuesday, the winners on 17 and 17 (34) were Sylvia Williamson, Kerry Whalley, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Peter Manning.
Runners up were Angela Clapton, Joan Catlin, Joan Fletcher, and Greg Williamsoin on 3 and 17 (20).
Thursday’s winners on 17 and 15 (32) were Greg Williamson, Glenda Willett, and Gloria McCluskey, with runners-up on 15 and 16 (31) being the team of Naz Carnivale, Gwen Mills, and Betty Clancy.
