Competition founder Judy James also had individual success, taking out the 060 women’s singles.
James said the Deni players performed admirably at the event, and were now looking forward to hosting a tournament here in Deniliquin in August.
“There were three days of team matches and individual events on the Sunday night, including gender doubles, mixed doubles and singles events,” James said.
“This was a huge event with 44 teams consisting of three to four players, and over 100 entries in the individual events.
“Deni came second in their grade in the teams' event, which is a great achievement from a small club.
“We were just pipped at the post by Leongatha Table Tennis Association.”
