Alice Circuitt – GK, GD – Alice has stood up this season as one of our most reliable defenders. She plays with discipline and never strays far from the goal circle, making it difficult for opposition shooters to make position. She reads the play beautifully and has had an impressive season.
Ava Marshall – GK, GD – Ava makes up the partnership alongside Alice as one of our solid, reliable defenders. Ava enjoys a hunting game, where she has the ability to pick off unexpected intercepts. She is effective in defensive turnovers, helping transition the ball from defence to attack. Ava and Alice form a formidable defensive combination.
Aysha Mitsch – WD, C, WA – Aysha completes our solid defensive trio. With her speed and grit, she makes hard work for any wing attack. Aysha has an uncanny ability to read the play, which results in numerous turnovers in each game. Despite her size, she is very effective in the air, which proves a problem for our opposition. Aysha will play an important role in our finals campaign.
Georgia Henderson – WA, WD, GD – Georgia is potentially our most versatile player on court, and has the ability to make a difference in both defence and attack. She can swing from a defensive role to an attacking role with ease. In particular, she excels in maintaining composure when she has possession of the ball. She times her feeds into the goalers perfectly, and equally so with her turnovers in defence.
Molly Bradley (captain) – WA, C, WD – Molly is our pocket rocket, speedy centre court player. She is also our team captain. Molly’s strengths include her agility, which allows her to lose her opponent easily in attack, and her composure with feeds into our goalers. Molly feeds the ball with precision into our goalers and adapts well to all attacking combinations.
Shontai O’Callaghan (vice captain) – C, WA, GA, GS – Shon is a steady, composed presence for our team. She plays with maturity and performs well under pressure. Shon has the ability to dominate the court in the centre position with her impressive ball skills and court positioning in attack, and her ability to pick off intercepts defensively across the entire court. Shon is our vice captain and can also swing into goals when needed.
Zoe Circuitt – GA, GS, WA – Zoe plays with a never say die attitude. She gives 110 per cent in every game, regardless of the score. She works tirelessly and selflessly in the goal circle and positions well for our mid-court players. Her accuracy at goal is impressive, and she forms a fierce combination with her fellow goaler, Phoebe Newman.
Phoebe Newman – GS, GA, WA – Phoebe has solidified herself as one of the league's most valued goalers this season. She has matured as a player and a goal shooter and goals with a high conversion rate. Phoebe applies herself on and off the court to further her game, which is evident on game day. She is able to position her body effectively for feeds from the attackers. Having played together for many years, Phoebe and Zoe present as a formidable goaling force.
Bella Hillier – GD, WD, C – Bella is our unofficial 9th player this season. As an under-15s player, she plays with maturity beyond her years. She is highly skilled and plays with grit and determination. Bella has been used in numerous under-17s games this season, and we are grateful to have her.
