With rain plaguing the under-7 and under-10 training, the under-12s joined in on some slap-hitting practice and a mini game.
They then refined their weaving and hitting skills, before embarking on a series of running passes weaving down the field.
Their finishing game saw a central area designated as ‘lava’, forcing the play out wide along the wings to practice their new running passes.
Thanks to coaches Lee Manning and Erin Jenkins for running the fast session.
All kids are welcome to hockey training every Thursday afternoon. Not everyone plays Saturday competitions, and most weeks we play mini games in different teams.
The first three weeks are free, with equipment available to borrow. Come along and surprise yourself.
