Murray
28.03.1967 – 28.08.2026
Taken from us suddenly and far too soon. Much loved husband of Kathleen and Dad of Milly, Meg and Tilda. Much loved son of Murray and Lorna, and brother and brother-in-law of Richard and Colleen, and Shona and David. Murray loved life. He was kind, generous, hardworking and always looked on the bright side. He loved his family and friends, animals, the outdoors, the Parramatta Eels and his home in Sandford.
Murray was a community man who gave his time to others, first with the NSW SES and more recently as a proud member of the Sandford Volunteer Fire Brigade. He was also a respected and committed employee of NBN.
He enjoyed the simple routines of life, including his daily coffee and breakfast at Ventura, where he was such a regular, they created a special "Murray button" for his order. Whenever Kathleen worried, Murray would tell her, "Don't worry, it'll work out." And it usually did. We miss him already, more than we knew it was possible to miss someone. Murray was right in the middle of his life, and we were not ready to lose him.
We loved him enormously. We wanted and expected so many more years with him.
