As a greatly loved member of the Congregation of Jesus (formerly IBVM/Loreto) and a woman of deep faith, Anne lived her life devoted to education, leadership and service, touching countless lives through her wisdom and integrity.


Anne’s keen intellect, broad interests and sharp wit with generous peals of enjoyment, brought lightness and laughter, reminding all who knew her that joy and kindness are vital acts of faith.


Her commitment to peace, justice and the care of the earth, are values she lived daily and inspired in others.

Anne has left a legacy of compassion, principled leadership, and hope for a more peaceful and sustainable world.


Anne died peacefully at St Vincent’s Aged Care Hawthorn, Victoria on Monday, 20th April, 2026
