her fierce determination belied her petite beauty
and disarming smile.
She devoted her life to family
and was famous worldwide
for her custard cake.
Remembered as a respected librarian
at Norwood High School,
Rita was highly intelligent
and always busy leading an active life.
She had breakout performances in
musicals and theatre with
The Burnside Players
and the Happy Tappers.
Rita will be dearly missed by us all
