Lyle passed away peacefully on

August 22nd, 2026,

Aged 93 years.

Beloved husband of Joan (dec’d), much-loved father to Vicki, Bronwyn, Anna and Hugh. Big brother to Warren and doting Grandad to Thomas, Myles, Angus, Isabelle, Josephine and Emma.

He cherished his extended family including Helen, Briska, Mick, Andrew, Jean, Stan, Sacha, five nieces, five nephews, and their families.

Lyle had many good friends in the Veterinary Medicine community in Australia and New Zealand. He was proud to have trained hundreds of Veterinarians across both countries. He also loved his animal companions including Nelly, Ben, Boris, Rufus, Dandy and Bob.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lyle’s funeral service on Thursday September 3rd, 2026, commencing at 10.00am. The service will take place at St. Michael and All Angels’ Anglican Church, 3047 Moggill Road, Moggill.
