Shepparton Running Festival 2026 organisers have confirmed a new route for the event after flooding affected routes in all directions from Victoria Park Lake, with a revision to the start time of the 10k race. The spectacle will go ahead as planned at the new location of Princess Park, corner of Nixon St and Quinan Parade, with the Friday race check-in remaining at the Shepparton Brewery, Edward St, between 4pm and 6pm. On Saturday, August 15, the festival will begin with a race check-in from noon until 5.30pm, with the 5km race taking place from 3.45pm and the 2km following from 4.45pm. On Sunday, August 16, the schedule features one revision from the previous plan, with the 10km set to take place at a new time of 9.30am. Otherwise, the itinerary for the day remains unchanged, with race check-in between 5am and 9am, the the marathon and half-marathon races starting at 7.30am and live music between 9am and 2pm. Spots for races including the 2km family run and the 5km run are now sold out. You can sign up to take part and see the revised course ahead of the event on the Shepparton Running Festival website.
