VFF returning officer Brendan Tatham said Nathan Free was re-elected to the role of VFF Horticulture Council president and Katherine Myers was returned as vice-president. Both positions were re-elected unopposed.
Mr Free has been the VFF Horticulture Council president since 2021.
He is a fourth-generation farmer and the managing director of Wattle Organics based in Lake Boga, near Swan Hill. He grows a mix of organic fruit, vegetables and cereal.
Mr Free has a history of leadership in the horticulture industry as a former Nuffield Scholar and Rabobank Emerging Leader, and was VFF Horticulture Council vice-president before becoming president.
Ms Myers has been VFF Horticulture Council vice-president since 2021.
She is based on the family farm in Tourello, just north of Ballarat, with her husband, four children and in-laws. They grow certified seed potatoes, prime lambs, fodder and cereal crops.
She is the first in her family to study and work in agriculture and has experience in agri research, valuations and finance.
