Johnson Kokozian, 20, remains on remand on charges stemming from the horror smash in Heckenberg on September 1.
The SUV he was allegedly driving smashed head-on into a car containing siblings Alina Kauffman, 24, and Ernesto Salazar, 15, killing them both.
Police allege Kokozian fled the scene after crashing the Mercedes-Benz AMG while travelling at nearly double the speed limit for the 50km/h zone.
His father Kagadour Hanna Kokozian was charged with concealing an indictable offence and hindering a police operation ahead of his appearance at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday.
Police allege the father and son, together with Johnson's 22-year-old girlfriend Tiana Savignano, discussed a cover story and made false reports to investigators following the crash.
Savignano has also been charged with concealing a serious indictable offence and hindering the police investigation.
Kokozian's friend Cruz Pamoana Davis-Tuka and another woman, Laila Moukhallaletti, have also been charged with helping to conceal the crime.
Earlier this month, Savignano pleaded guilty to filming her boyfriend during a Parramatta Local Court bail hearing on September 3 as he faced one charge of aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death.
She will be sentenced over the illegal filming incident on November 27.
Johnson and Kagadour Kokozian, along with Savignano, Davis-Tuka and Moukhallaletti, will all come before Campbelltown Local Court on November 1 for a mention over charges relating to the Heckenberg crash.
