Rain a rare sight

If you didn't know what was falling from the sky to start November, you could be forgiven.

Rain fell across the region over the weekend, with Shepparton (9mm) recording nearly triple its October figure of 3.2mm.

Cobram saw 22mm to start the last month of spring, Benalla recorded 21.2mm, while Lake Eildon recorded 16.6mm.

Mangalore reached 15.4mm, Euroa 12.8mm and Yarrawonga had 11.6mm register in the gauge.

In NSW, Tocumwal saw 15.8mm fall and Deniliquin recorded 11.2mm.

Cloudy and showery conditions are forecast for the rest of the week.
