Lockington-Bamawm United is off the bottom of the ladder and back on the winners’ list, winning out in a close encounter with Elmore at the weekend in Heathcote District Netball League.

Elmore threw everything at the Cats in a crucial final term, but Lockington held on to the advantage to win 57-51.
The four points not only get the Cats (2-6) out of last, but put them all the way up to sixth at the halfway point of the season, a win-and-a-half out of the finals places.
Lockington will be looking to string together consecutive successes for the first time this year when it visits North Bendigo (4-4) on Saturday.

White Hills v Leitchville-Gunbower
The Bombers faced a tough away test against of one of the leading group, White Hills.
At White Hills Recreation Reserve, the Demons demonstrated the quality that has put them into the top three, bursting away to a 69-37 win.
Leitchville-Gunbower slips to the bottom of the ladder after a fifth straight loss, with a win and a draw to its name through the first eight games.
The Bombers will face a strong Mount Pleasant side this Saturday.
