A total of 17 Murray Bombers were included across the under-13, 14, and 15 sides, with all three losing their respective interleague matches at Windridge Oval at Rochester.
Jaspa Dedini, Brandt Haw and Harvey Robinson were named in the under-13s, which lost 2.10 (22) to 4.3 (27), Robinson being named in the best players.
Six Murray Bombers were listed in the under-14s, including Tom Arthurson, Blake Auld, Jesse Nye, Jaxon Key, Alfie Lloyd and Luca Micalizzi.
The side lost heavily, 2.6 (18) to 9.9 (63), with Key booting one of Goulburn Murray’s two majors and Nye being named in the best.
Echuca’s strongest representation was in the under-15 side, where Harry Dunham, Taj Maddox, Nate Murphy, Kai Rankins, Arli Walker, Charlie Flanigan, Beau Griffiths and Reeve Sellars were all named.
Bendigo proved too strong in that clash as well, winning 18.5 (113) to 10.16 (76), though Walker was a standout, kicking three goals and being in Goulburn Murray’s best players.
Alongside the several Echuca players named, Murray Bomber Matt Dunham was also listed as an interleague coach for the Goulburn Murray juniors.
